Spring Cleaning: Create a Plan of Action

March is in full swing and so is preparation for spring cleaning. Spring cleaning is the tradition of cleaning out your home after hunkering down for the winter months. Open up the windows and breathe in the slightly warm floral smell of flowers beginning to bloom. It’s important to note that spring cleaning can be done from the end of March to the end of May, depending on where you are living. Let’s get to the plan of action and how to tackle your home to achieve the perfect spring cleaning routine. In every room, it is important to clean each of the following:

  • Wipe down baseboards, door ceilings, window sills, doors, and walls
  • Vacuum and wipe vents
  • Wash the inside and outside of your windows
  • Dust blinds and overhead lights
  • Replace burnt light bulbs, if any
